Over ten years the Health Research Institute has undertaken world-leading research in Public Health and Health Services Research and is resolute in its commitment to helping improve equity of access to good health, wellbeing and healthcare for all.

We are proud to be ranked 10th for reducing for reducing inequalities and proud to be in the top 10% of university rankings world-wide for the Sustainable Goal 鈥淕ood Health and Wellbeing鈥� (THE Impact Rankings 2025). We currently partner with global research projects in over >50 countries, and nationally, with more than >100 local communities and our research informs regional and national policy.
